Okay, I have a confession : I am the worst BLOGGER EVER! So, I'm sorry. I could blame it on my anticipation to go back home to Cali and visit family and friends...Let's do that. ( which by the way Cameron and I both had an amazing time. We wish we lived closer, but having a blog definitely helps with that issue[if i keep up with it of course]) Well there are so many things that I wanted to post, and it looks like the blogger photo up-loader doesn't like me so most of the pictures aren't in a time line (so to speak). It will just be random funness. Yes, funness!
Let me start with something that both Cameron and I have been very proud of. We have been able to keep plants ALIVE! It's a miracle...I think we are ready for KIDS! Our biggest successes have been our aloe Vera plant and our big leafy plant that we don't know what it's called. When we lived in the basement, those two were troopers!
I would say that this picture is them about a year ago...that poor aloe vera was suffering as you can tell...but...there is good news!
Today it is thriving and loving life! :) There was some challenges that we faced, but we had to encourage it to press forward and remember that the future brings many wonderful things if you wait... As you can see our aloe is as happy as it can be...
Then that second plant in that picture was our leafy green! It was the stronger of the two and seemed to be better at adapting to the trials it was facing ( lack of light ). I think it had a much better perspective than our lil aloe. But here is a picture of it when we moved into our new apartment! Beautiful right?....well that was in May ( when we moved here we decided that this plant needed a bigger place to live since it was suffering so much before but it never complained. So we got it a newer and bigger pot )
Now, today...September...LOOK AT THAT BEAST! I know it's probably hard to really tell how big it is, but let me just tell you that the biggest leaves you see are about an inch larger than the length of my hand ( from the bottom of my palm to the tip of my middle finger) ya, its HUGE! And it's only going to get bigger. We are so proud of our little plants...
Our next big thing is our new and improved FOOD STORAGE/WORK OUT/CAMERON'S STUDY ROOM. We had a bed in there before, but no one ever came to visit and we just figured it was a waste of room ( not trying to sound pathetic. we know Utah is kind of a long drive. And besides we have a couch with a pull out bed plus we have a blow up mattress, our extra bed was kind of just in the way). So we got rid of it and decided to convert it into a more needed cause!
So now we have a weight bench so I can strengthen my knee, Food just in case we randomly don't have money, and Cameron gets to keep his lil area. We are very happy with this!
Now this, was today. Cameron decided to take pictures of me when I wasn't ready. I thought they were fun and have a lot of emotion in them so i decided to share them. By the way, I made some delicious beans that I feel so grateful to know how to make thanks to my Grandma! ( this was the first time I actually REALLY liked them)
Mixed emotions...hahaha
When we were on vacation Cameron and I spent a day in Las Vegas with my mom, my aunt, and my cousins. Timing couldn't have been more perfect because my only brother/sibling I hadn't seen in about 7 or 8 years was in town visiting. Oh I was sooo happy to have been able to see him. He was my best friend growing up, but when he 'grew up' he had to take his own course in life. We talked on the phone on and off through the 7 years, but for the first time since he graduated high school I got to see my brother! It was so nice to know that the Lord answers our prayers. It may not be when we want him to, but sure enough, it's always the perfect time.
Something FUN to share.
On July 4th, Provo puts on a parade and it's a big deal for the city. It's apart of the "Freedom Days" they celebrate for the 4th of July weekend. Anyways, since this is such an LDS community, the missionaries who serve in the Provo mission get to be apart of the parade. An yes, my Hermana Smith was there! In the picture you see her lifting her arm, thats her waiving me over to give her a hug. haha I know she felt like a movie star out there. haha I Love that girl!

One of the Date Night's Cameron and I had, Cameron brought home stuff to make a delicious home made pizza. Ya, it was SOOOOO good that I had to post the picture of it.
This picture was taken from the same " Freedom Parade" , but I specifically took it for my Brother-in Law Corie. He is in the U.S. Air Force and I thought he would enjoy knowing that I actually AM nice ;)
This is definitely a random picture, but I thought my mother-in-law, or as Cameron calls her "MAMA" would want to see it. This was Cameron before he took off to work at the " Stadium of Fire" around the 4th of July. I thought he looked cute. Trust me that was a forced smile, but he definitely pulled it off well.
Okay, So these next and final pictures are some pictures from a Camping trip we went on with Family. It was Casey's Birthday ( my brother-in-law) and he wanted to go to Lake Isabella to camp along side the Kern River. This was in May, and it was definitely NOT summer time yet.
This is lil Max chillin in our tent for a few moments.
Ya, he is one COOL Kid. Tired, but still pulling off the coolness.
On the trip Cameron and I went on our own little hike along the river and it was pretty fun!
On the walk we saw a group of guys on a " boogie board" type of device going down the rapids! It was soooooo COOL! Had to take a picture.
Max and Uncle Cameron taking an afternoonish/Morning nap.

Pretty Hannah and her little brother.
And then there is Grace!
