So in September Cameron and I decided to sign up for a 5K( 3.1 miles) run in Orem. It was something Cameron had never done and something I hadn't done in years. We had both been casually training for it for a few months. We were super excited when we went to go pick up our race packets and saw that we got shirts! haha Cameron decided that we should do it more often just for the shirts. haha
So we both ran the race and felt as though we did horrible! haha Cameron placed 38th overall, and I was 40th. And our mile pace was horrible so I would rather not mention that ;) but! to our surprise our efforts were not wasted.. We both ended placing second in our age group (20-24). It was pretty sweet! So we both got little metals for that.
