Today is almost 2 months since we have moved on our own to the great state of Utah and it has been a great experience. There have been many things that we have both learned and appreciated from it as well. I must say, the atmosphere is much healthier for us in the sense that we actually look forward to running and being active. From my last knee surgery my knee has been a little weak, but because of my activity I can feel it getting stronger. What a blessing!
On top of working out I have been lucky enough to find a job that I will absolutely love. I am going to be a nanny again, and I love it! I have found that sometimes we don’t understand what our calling in life is, and I’m starting to think that that’s mine. Hopefully it is, because that is probably the best calling ever!
And on top of THAT Cameron is doing great in school and he absolutely loves it! I couldn’t have married a bigger nerd than him, but I love every bit of nerdy-ness he has. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
Being married and looking back at life’s journey that is passing me by so fast makes me think a lot about the choices that took to get where we are right now. It’s amazing just how perfect our lives are for us individually. Some may think that getting married is something that should be held off until you are financially stable and on your feet, but I say those people are wrong. It’s those months when you are struggling to pay the rent, to buy groceries, or even to drive the car that build marriages. Sometimes you don’t know how you are gonna make it to next month, but it’s so comforting when you can know that you are not alone ;Your best friend is with you every step of the way.
I love my eternal companion, even when he tries to explain to me the molecular compound of an atom. I can’t wait for our family to grow. Families ARE Forever.
