October Festivities!

A few weekends before Halloween, Cameron and I decided to make a day of going to the Red Barn in Santaquin and enjoying a hay ride, some fun activities, and picking out our very first pumpkins out of a pumpkin patch! It was the first time we have done it as a family, and we all enjoyed it. Alexa was in shock at the amount of pumpkins there were to choose from( we kept having to convince her to move her location for better looking pumpkins haha). Anyways, we had a lot of fun. Then after, we got some amazingly delicious ice cream and Cameron decided it was time for Alexa to get her first ice cream cone...haha...did I mention he chose chocolate ice cream and she was wearing light pink? well, no matter the mess that came from it, she thought she was so cool with her own ice cream and loved every moment.

( After realizing it moved she quickly changed her mind)

We had decided that we would make a family home evening out of our pumpkin carving, so we waited until the monday before halloween. However, like always, it didn't work out on FHE night, but the next day we definitely made it a priority. We got to carving the tuesday before halloween, and Alexa began her pumpkin seed tasting extravaganza! She was eating those things like candy- well, sucking on them like candy. Then after, she decided to see how much of a mess she could make with them haha. That was the extent of her carving. Cameron ended up cleaning the pumpkins and I carved them :) we all contributed in our own way- 2013 Pumpkin carving= success!

Halloween came, and there was so much anticipation and excitement to get Alexa out there for her first expereince that...we failed and didn't take any pictures. haha However! I did manage to take 1 of Alexa when she was happy with her new bucket and apple.
Halloween= Fail haha

Well, maybe next year I will have a better hold on things.

So that was our October, with a few fun visits to friends in Price, Utah and an interview in Pomona, Ca for Cameron's medical school interview.

Here are some fun random pictures:

Can't believe October is already gone. Next month we move back to California where a new adventure awaits us! Looking forward to Thanksgiving :)
