It's amazing what a small child can teach you: patience, love, sacrifice, forgiveness, humility, and sooo much more. Interestingly enough, these are all things that will bring you joy! Children are amazing! How grateful I am for my beautiful little blessing and the role she plays in my life.
This past week our family was able to make a journey out to Las Vegas to visit with family! It was such an amazing expereince that I am still filled with gratitude for the opportunity to have been able to have done that.
Our week started out with Heat, Heat, and more heat! It was in the high 90's and eventually swayed into the 100's! really!? In May? haha Anyways, we started off our week camping, then going to Lake Mead, cruising on some jet ski's, getting kicked off the jet ski's, enjoying the water, lots of driving, going shopping, visiting Circus Circus, and overall- just spending time with family. What a great adventure that was for all of us.
Enjoy some pictures.
The night before we left, I stepped wrong on the last step on the stairs in our basement . I heard a pop, and just about passed out from the pain. I sprained my ankle! I still haven't figured out what lesson I was suppose to learn from it...haha
Alexa is a shy girl and has to warm up to you before she is comfortable with you even looking at her; however, she fell in love with my brother the moment he started talking to her.
haha she doesn't look like she is having fun, but she definitely was!
Marcus and Jodi on the seadoos before the patrol told us we couldn't ride them anymore...
Eden fishing like a pro :)
It was so hot outside, Alexa felt like a nap was what she needed.
Jessie, Jodi, Eden, and Mark having fun in the water.
Before we left we had to deflate the tubes and this giant ball...haha
Eden had fun with it.
Major red eye right there! Loving her new bow from her Auntie!
Laughing at her Grandma's house!
Fashion girl!
