Where has the time gone?

Maybe I just had a smack in the face, but I can't believe Alexa is already 9 months old! She crawls like a pro and now she is starting to be confident and stand by herself. Where has the time gone? As much as I have been so blessed to be able to spend every moment with her, its starting to wear on me that she wont always be small. I'm now okay if her " next stage" waits a few more months to show itself. She is a doll, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect family.

We are still in anticipation waiting for Camerons results for school. It's kind of annoying having to wait so long for a test grade! Either way, we will still have to wait even longer once he applies to the medical schools June 5th, so I guess I better get use to this waiting process. There is gonna be a lot of it this year. haha

Here is Alexa getting into a box of Clorox :) i'm a great mom aren't I?

This is why these jars say not to microwave the meats... ( I think it's a note for Dad's)
with that said, I wont put a name on who created this explosion!  haha

Alexa is crazy about bath time!!!

Loves being a big girl on her Giraffe

One day it was so hot outside and we went for a walk to go pick up the kids I babysit, and ALexa had a blast going and being outside, but when we got home, this is all she wanted :)

My beautiful Mothers Day Flowers
 My Happy Girl!

For mothers day weekend, our family took a trip once again out to Price to enjoy a weekend with the Kuerths! Alexa is crazy about them :)
That weekend we also visited a Pool for the first time with Alexa and she LOVED IT! My husband always says she loves water because when she was being delivered in the hospital, the Olympics were on. Can you guess what event it was? haha Swimming!

Alexa and her new bow from her Auntie Jessica!

Alexa is so funny and her character is developing into a strong and playful little girl. As much as I don't want her to grow up, I am getting excited to teach her all of the good things that life has to offer her: )

Happy Mother's Day!

Well, today was Mother's Day...My first Official Mother's day, and let me tell you, it was wonderful :) It's a new celebration so it's still going to take some time to get use to it , but how grateful I am to have the opportunity to be a mother to a beautiful little girl. And of course, I am eternally grateful for my very own mother who has blessed my life in more than one way ( giving me life ) haha.

I feel as though mothers day is a wonderful time to reflect on your life, on all of the wonderful women who have been there for you, and have helped you to become who you are today. Thank you Mom, and thank you to all the beautiful women in my life!

I'm one lucky mama :)

A lot has happened  since my last post...

1. Cameron finished his last Winter Semester at BYU with a 4.0 (i'm allowed to brag)
2. Cameron took his MCATS--phew, what a relief
3. It is official, California, here we come ( In December that is- and only for about 6 months)
4. Alexa started to crawl, and now is wanting to walk
5. Alexa figured out the stairs...at least how to go up them :/ ...oh boy.
6. Cameron started to work as a Biology tutor for BYU
7. Alexa now has 4 teeth on the top, and two on the bottom.
8. She turned 9 months 6 days ago.
9.The application process has begun for Medical School!

That pretty much sums it all up!

We are so grateful for all of the love and support you have all given to us in this very stressful and complex time in our life. We are very excited for Cameron to finally apply to medical school, June 5th!

In our last post we added a link to a website for whoever wanted to help us out along this looong path to medical school. That link is still available, and we would still really appreciate any contribution you could make to help us. Thank you so much!

We love you all!
