Priceless moments in the making...

It has hardly been a month and so many fun things have happened!

First: this month started off with Cameron and I celebrating our 2 year anniversary! I wasn't feeling too great the day of our anniversary so we decided to wait til the weekend to go out to dinner. We had a yummy dinner on Saturday and then Sunday evening I found a cute box on my pillow. Inside I found a beautiful pair of earrings! ( According to Cameron-the earrings represented our 2 years of marriage)
Cute huh?

Well, a few days later was Valentines day and I came home from work to a wonderful dinner that smelled yummy and was greeted with 3 Red Roses (One for each year we have spent Valentines together).

The following week, which was last week, we were able to make a visit to the doctors! We got to hear our little baby's heartbeat and finally schedule an appointment for an ultrasound (a month away, but so worth the wait). Can't wait to see our little bug :)

(17 weeks)

We also were able to sell both our desk and weight bench- Now I am searching for a crib that will fit our family for quite a while. Because we wont put our money just anywhere, it's a huge process for us...we shall see where it leads us :)

Throughout the month we have received gifts for the baby from a few family members and we are just so grateful for all the support our family gives to us. We know that we have been blessed with everyone in our lives and look forward to sharing our bundle of joy with them all!
We are also so grateful for the technology that allows our small family to stay connected with so many of our loved ones around the world. So many blessings! Thank you all for being so good to us!
We love and miss you a bunch!!!

Transitioning...

Well, we have entered our second trimester! What an awesome accomplishment! Only 2 more to go :) The best part about this change is the actual CHANGE--No more stomach issues!!! I can eat food ( most anyways ) without feeling disgusted afterward. The only thing my stomach and appetite agree is absolutely disgusting right now is red meat :( sad day for me. And because I am Lactose Intolerant I have to avoid the yummy dairy stuff like ice cream, and cheesy stuff....oh, my mouth sure does water for all that! But other than that, it has been a beautiful week being able to get back to a fairly normal diet.

14 weeks
(By the end of the day this is what I look like- in the morning you can hardly see any sign of a baby in there haha)

This cartoon pretty much sums it up.

Along with our jump into the second tri, we are moving right along and starting to make room in the babies nursery. I am pretty bummed we have to get rid of my weight bench we got so I can strengthen my knee. But living so close to a free gym at BYU, I am willing to give this up for our little 'parasite' (as Cameron calls our baby).

We are also getting rid of Cameron's Desk he has been using this entire time we have been in Utah. Since I am not in school anymore, we converted my desk area into his new desk. Man, I sure am giving up a lot ;) haha

(If anyone is interested in these items give us a shout out!)

Things are beginning to come together now that my body is functioning enough to get things done and Cameron has more time for his studies. I will try to keep this blog as updated as possible for family and friends back home. We love you all and miss you!!!
