Today is 2 weeks since my sweetheart and I were married in the Redlands LDS Temple. It was such a beautiful day as I reflect upon it. The day was February 6th,2010. It was so rainy and windy as my groom and I walked into the Redlands Temple. Our sealing was at 10am, and we arrived at 9am. Paperwork needed to be filled out and we needed to prepare ourselves for the ceremony. How beautiful it was to see those sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father all gathered in that small room waiting for mine and Camerons arrival. The blessings given were sweet and powerful.
After the ceremony we were both prepared for the worst. We were ok with the weather being how it was when we entered the temple 2 hours before. As i was in the brides room preparing to leave the temple, a few ladies working in the temple informed Sister Gallagher and I that the weather had JUST cleared up. I was sooo happy, sooo excited. The Lord knows our individual desires. Those little things that are so insignificant to our eternal progression, is still important to Him because its important to us at the time. As i walked into the Lobby to greet my groom, his jaw dropped as he looked at his new wife. It was something i had never seen him do before. A priceless moment.
We both grabbed eachothers hand and walked through the holy doors of the Redlands Calirfornia Temple, where we were greeted by our loving friends and family.
I didn't expect the rain to stay away for long, but the lord answered many prayers that day. Photos were able to be taken and beautiful ones might i add. It was a perfect wedding day. I don't think anyone in their right mind would have wanted it any better than how it was that day.
